Arts and business go hand in hand. The Crisp Small Business Resource Center, Pitt Community College’s Small Business Center, and ECU’s Small Business and Technology Development Center are proud to partner with Emerge Gallery & Art Center, Home of the Pitt County Arts Council, to bring local artists a series of free workshops about business in the world of art.

Grant Writing
During this workshop Holly Garriott, Executive Director of the Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge, will discuss grant writing with a spot light on Artist Support Grants. The Artist Support Grant was created to provide direct support to individual artists during and following the COVID-19 pandemic. The initiative will fund professional artists to enhance their skills and abilities to create work, or to improve their business operations, and capacity to bring their work to new audiences.
