Outreach Events
We are often looking for assistances at our booths that we set up at events around Pitt County. This could involve assisting with art activities, passing out flyers, and talking with attendees at the booth. As well as set up and clean up of booth.
Facility Assistance
Interested in volunteering but maybe more behind the scenes? With 8,000+ square feet we could always use an extra set of hands organizing art supply closets and classrooms. As part of our Art is Good Medicine Outreach Program, we create around 600 Art Care Kits each year. These kits are given to people in the Cancer Center and Children’s hospital as a tool of distraction. Staff comes up with the plan and ensures that we have materials ready, however extra hands for assembly kits is appreciated.
